WebTeam Host Website Hosting Agreement

This Web Hosting Agreement is between WebTeam Host (us) and you (the customer) who use our website hosting and domain service. Please read carefully to ensure you understand our terms before purchasing any of our products or services.  

Services

We agree to provide the services you purchase at the agreed-upon price. We won’t mislead you with hidden costs.

Terms

  • You are responsible for monitoring your storage space and bandwidth usage each month. We’ll notify you if you exceed your limits and offer upgrade or reduced usage options. Continued issues may lead to account suspension.
  • Cancellations within the first month will still be charged for the full month.
  • There are no refunds on dedicated and VPS servers. Annual payments are non-refundable after the 30-day money-back guarantee period, except in cases of service violation by us.

Payments

  • Renewal notices are emailed three days before the renewal date. We offer automatic payments for your convenience.
  • Late payments incur a $5 fee. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
  • Unpaid accounts risk suspension after a week. You are responsible for all fees from account creation until termination.
  • Our website currency is USD, although we’re based in the UK. Billing cycles correspond to the contract length you choose. Accounts automatically renew unless canceled beforehand.
  • There is no fee for canceling yearly accounts after the initial term. Monthly cancellations result in no refunds for the current month.

Cancellation and Early Termination

You acknowledge the service fees are based on your agreement to pay for the initial or renewal term.

Server Abuse

Any attempt to harm our servers or customers is strictly prohibited. This includes unauthorized access attempts, hacking, and similar activities. We will take appropriate action, including account suspension or legal action, depending on the severity of the offense.

Disk Space Abuse

We will determine what constitutes a violation of this policy. You are responsible for monitoring your disk space usage. Contact our staff for assistance or to upgrade your plan.

Bandwidth Abuse

We provide ample bandwidth for website content, not off-site storage. We’ll notify you of excessive usage and give you 48 hours to resolve it. Overages will be billed.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use our services according to the AUP, incorporated into this agreement. We reserve the right to modify the AUP to meet web hosting standards and laws. You agree to cooperate with any investigation of suspected AUP violations. Our interpretation of the AUP is final.

Customer Information

You warrant that the information you provide is accurate. If you are an individual, you must be at least 18 years old. We may rely on the Primary Customer Contact for instructions regarding your account.

Unsolicited Email & Spamming

Spam is strictly prohibited and may result in account cancellation. We have a zero-tolerance policy for spam originating from our servers or advertising domains hosted on our network.

99.99% Uptime Guarantee

(Coverage) This applies to customers in good financial standing who are experiencing service outages. (Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Specifications) We strive for 99.99% website availability. Network downtime is defined as 100% packet loss from us to our backbone providers. Downtime is measured after 10 minutes following notification via our ticketing system. We will determine the end of downtime through a traceroute to your machine from outside our network. (Shared Hosting Credits) In case of unavailability below 95%, you will receive a credit on your next month’s service fee, ranging from 10% to 50% based on the percentage of downtime. (Credits are not provided for) scheduled maintenance, issues caused by your actions, circumstances beyond our control (force majeure events), or violations of our terms.

Technical Support Boundaries

Our technical support covers our area of expertise, including control panel assistance, server issues, and general hosting-related problems. We’ll do our best to help with scripts, templates, and programming languages, but we are not obligated to install them or troubleshoot the errors you caused.

CGI Scripts

Each shared hosting account comes with a CGI-BIN directory. You can use any CGI scripts you wish, but we reserve the right to disable scripts affecting normal server operation.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebTeam Host, our affiliates, and our respective officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service in violation of applicable law or the AUP.
