Terms of Service Agreement

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Introduction

Web Team Host holds full ownership of all editorial content and graphics published on this website. We deliver professional web services to clients worldwide, and every customer is expected to comply with the following Terms and Conditions of Service. These guidelines have been established to ensure the highest possible standard of service for all users.

This Web Team Host Terms of Service ("TOS") defines the terms and conditions governing the delivery of Web Team Host's Services ("Services") to you upon completing your registration. By accessing our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. The TOS specifies what is permitted and what is prohibited in connection with the use of our Services. This TOS is not a complete list of all applicable rules, and Web Team Host reserves the right to update it at any time.

No verbal or written statement made by any Web Team Host employee shall supersede this TOS. By registering for and using any Web Team Host Service, the Customer fully accepts all current and future terms and conditions outlined in this TOS. Any violation of this TOS may result in suspension or termination of the Customer's Services.

1 Service Delivery Time

Upon successful payment, we deliver our services immediately by notifying you at your registered email address and providing access to your Web Team Host control dashboard. This process is fully automated. In the event of an automation failure for any reason, service delivery may take up to 24 hours.

2 New Accounts

Account activation begins after we receive your payment and complete a fraud screening process conducted by us and/or our payment processors. You are required to provide an email address that does not belong to the domain(s) you are registering. Your primary email address will be used to reach you in case of abuse concerns or urgent communication. It is your obligation to keep this email address accurate and current at all times.

If you have a domain name registered with Web Team Host, you must keep all contact information accurate and current. Web Team Host is not responsible for any registration lapse caused by incorrect or outdated contact details. Providing false or misleading contact information of any kind may result in account termination.

Within 3 days of creating your account, you may be required to submit a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport, National ID, or Driver's License) along with proof of address (utility bill) for any service purchased. Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in your order being flagged and declined.

3 Transfers

Our dedicated migration team will make every effort to help you move your website and data to our platform. However, site migration is offered on a best-effort basis, and we cannot guarantee the feasibility, success rate, or timeframe involved in completing a transfer. Some platforms store data in proprietary or incompatible formats that may make partial or full data migration extremely challenging or even impossible.

Free transfer assistance is available for up to three (3) days following your sign-up date.

4 Satisfaction Guaranteed

Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies exclusively to Web Hosting services. Should you be unsatisfied for any reason within the first 30 days, you may request cancellation in writing via email or through our official cancellation form, and a full refund will be processed. A clear and specific reason for your cancellation is required in all cases.

Note: Domain Registration, renewal, transfer, SSL certificates, and similar services are excluded from this guarantee. Processing fees may apply.

5 Payments

By subscribing to our services, you are agreeing to a pre-paid arrangement. All ITES services (domain registration, web hosting, SSL) are subject to 5% VAT. Web development services are additionally subject to a 2% sales tax. Outstanding invoices can be settled online via bKash or PayPal, or in person through bank transfer or walk-in payment at our operational office.

Renewal reminders are sent multiple times via email during the 30-day period leading up to your renewal date. If your annual payment is declined and we are unable to reach you, applicable late charges will be assessed.

For accounts with outstanding invoices, the following timeline applies:

  • Day 1 No action taken
  • Day 2 Account suspended
  • Day 7 Late fee assessed
  • Day 15 Account terminated

6 Cancellations

To cancel any of your services, you must submit a written request to our sales team or initiate a cancellation directly from within your clients' area.

7 Overage Charges

Our service plans are structured to handle the typical usage requirements of most customers. However, individual usage patterns may vary and occasionally exceed available resources, especially in terms of disk space and bandwidth. We will never charge your payment method automatically without your consent.

Keep your cPanel email address updated to receive notifications when your account approaches system-defined usage thresholds. Failure to respond to overage notifications may result in your site being suspended by our automated system.

8 Refunds / Account Termination

In the event that Web Team Host is unable to fulfill the agreed-upon services, a prorated refund will be issued. If your services are suspended or terminated due to a policy violation, no refund will be provided. Upon submitting a cancellation request, your account will be suspended at the end of the service period and permanently deleted within 30 days.

Accounts suspended for reasons unrelated to cancellation that remain suspended for more than 10 days will also be deleted. In cases where a customer holds multiple accounts, Web Team Host reserves the right to suspend all associated accounts if any one of them has an unpaid balance.

⚠️ No refund will be issued if a breach of our terms and conditions is identified. The money-back guarantee applies only once per customer per product.

9 Content Policy

All Web Team Host services are intended for lawful use only. Any information, data, or content transmitted, stored, or displayed in violation of applicable laws of the Government of Bangladesh is strictly prohibited. This encompasses copyrighted material, content deemed threatening or obscene, material posing a threat to national security, and content protected under trade secret laws.

Web Team Host supports freedom of expression; however, we have zero tolerance toward content that attacks religious beliefs, uses vulgar or offensive language directed at others, or contains violent or malicious material.

Using any Web Team Host shared web hosting account as a data storage or backup repository is not permitted. Shared hosting accounts are designed exclusively for website hosting. Content that poses a risk to minors — including but not limited to child pornography — is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate suspension without notice.

10 Opt-in Email Marketing

Only permission-based email marketing is acceptable. "Opt-in" specifically means that recipients have voluntarily provided their email address to receive communications related to your site or services. Sending emails to individuals who have not expressly granted permission is grounds for immediate suspension and termination of your account.

We strongly recommend reaching out to us before participating in any third-party opt-in lists to avoid potential exposure to spam complaints.

11 Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

Web Team Host maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward unsolicited commercial email (UCE) and unsolicited bulk email (UBE). An electronic message qualifies as spam if:

  • The content is equally relevant to a large number of unrelated recipients; AND
  • The recipient has not clearly and verifiably given deliberate, specific, and revocable consent; AND
  • The message disproportionately benefits the sender.

11.1 Bulk Mailing Checklist

  • Do not disguise, falsify, or misrepresent the email sender's identity.
  • Disclose how recipients' addresses were collected and mailing frequency.
  • Include clear and functional one-click unsubscribe mechanisms.
  • Include verifiable offline contact information (postal address or phone number).
  • All bulk emails must be solicited with a confirmed, verifiable relationship.
  • Do not send unsolicited bulk email via Web Team Host servers.
  • Use confirmed opt-in (closed-loop) mailing lists only.
  • Do not operate accounts affiliated with ROKSO-listed entities.

12 Script Usage Policy

Web Team Host provides hosting accounts with support for CGI, PHP, and other executable scripts. Because these scripts consume substantially more server resources than static HTML pages, usage restrictions are in place.

  • Scripts must consume only a minimal amount of system resources.
  • No single user account may consume more than 20% of total system resources at any given time.
  • Scripts may only be referenced or executed on websites hosted by Web Team Host.
  • Scripts must execute efficiently — scripts consuming excessive processor time will be removed.
  • Scripts designed to attack or compromise server integrity will result in immediate termination and legal referral.
  • Perl-based chat room scripts are not permitted under any circumstances.
  • High-bandwidth scripts (non-Perl chat rooms, banner rotation) are restricted to premium plans.
  • Assigning global write permissions (chmod 777) unnecessarily is prohibited.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your website's scripts.
Note: If a script cannot function without 777 permissions, please contact customer support for case-by-case approval.

13 Resource Usage Policy

13.1 Server Resource Abuse Policy (SRAP)

Any website placing an excessive load on server resources — including CPU, memory, and network bandwidth — will be advised to upgrade to a dedicated server environment.

13.2 Illegal Usage

Web Team Host servers are intended exclusively for lawful activities. Transmitting, storing, or distributing data in violation of applicable laws is strictly forbidden. This includes unauthorized use of copyrighted material, trademarks, trade secrets, obscene content, pirated software, hacker tools, Warez, and IRC bots.

13.3 Illegal Content

Web Team Host prohibits background daemons including IRC bots, eggdrop, BitchX, XiRCON, and similar programs. Web proxies (including NPH-Proxy) are not permitted. Discovery of proxy files results in immediate suspension and a USD 50 administrative fee. Running Perlbots, DDoS tools, Shoutcast servers, or root exploit programs will result in immediate suspension and penalties ranging from USD 50.00 to USD 100.00 per incident.

13.4 Software Distribution

Distributing software or multimedia content through Web Team Host shared web hosting accounts is not permitted. Please contact our sales team to explore custom distribution arrangements.

13.5 Liabilities

Web Team Host does not make any representations or guarantees regarding services provided by its clients and accepts no liability for disputes or third-party claims against them. We bear no responsibility for content stored on any server within our network unless formally reported.

13.6 IP Address Ownership

All IP addresses and numbers assigned to you by Web Team Host remain the exclusive property of and under the management of Web Team Host. We reserve the right to reassign, modify, or revoke any IP address at any time without prior notice.

13.7 Security

Unauthorized access to or interference with the Web Team Host network is strictly prohibited and may lead to civil or criminal liability. Prohibited activities include:

  • Accessing data or systems not intended for you, or logging in without authorization.
  • Scanning, probing, or testing the security of any system or network without explicit authorization.
  • Disrupting service through overloading, ping flooding, or mail bombing.
  • Inserting forged headers into TCP/IP packets in any email or forum post.
  • Taking unauthorized actions to access services to which you are not entitled.
  • Combining or pooling multiple hosting plans to exceed individual resource limits.

14 Server Abuse

Any deliberate attempt to damage, disrupt, or exploit a Web Team Host server or subscriber is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Logging into a server or account for which you do not have authorized access.
  • Accessing or manipulating data to obtain services not intended for you.
  • Scanning, probing, or testing any system or network to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Altering, hacking, or undermining security or authentication mechanisms without authorization.
  • Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code.
  • Intercepting, monitoring, or hijacking any system, data, or communication.
  • Disrupting service through overloading, flooding, mailbombing, or crashing systems.
⚠️ You are accountable for all activities conducted through your account, regardless of whether those actions were performed by you or a third party. All Web Team Host sub-networks and dedicated server environments are subject to these policies.

15 Bandwidth & Traffic Measurement Policy

All monthly bandwidth allocations include both inbound and outbound traffic distributed on a 50/50 basis. Any usage exceeding either direction's totals will be billed at the overage rate applicable to your plan.

Web Team Host's bandwidth policy is simple: each billing cycle, you receive a defined traffic allocation. For shared hosting plans, if data transfer exceeds your plan's allocation, the account will be suspended. Our team may reach out to discuss upgrade options prior to suspension.

Web Team Host does not guarantee any minimum bandwidth throughput for shared bandwidth ports. Users may opt for a dedicated bandwidth port, with the upstream provider guaranteeing up to 75% of bandwidth to their Singapore or UK servers. Contact our sales team for pricing.

16 Scheduled Maintenance and Downtime

Web Team Host strives to deliver uninterrupted service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, service availability may be temporarily impacted due to scheduled maintenance ("Scheduled Downtime"), hardware or software malfunctions, or factors beyond our reasonable control.

Subscribers will be notified of Scheduled Downtime at least 48 hours in advance. Web Team Host is not accountable for downtime caused by actions taken by users. The 99.99% network uptime guarantee does not apply to shared hosting accounts.

17 Responsibility (Reseller / Client)

Unless it can be verified that an account was compromised through external hacking or address spoofing, the client bears full responsibility for all activity originating from their account. It is the client's sole duty to safeguard their login credentials.

Using Web Team Host services requires a foundational understanding of internet technologies. Examples include:

  • Web Publishing: HTML, file linking, FTP, graphics, text formatting, and image mapping.
  • FrontPage Publishing: FrontPage tools along with Telnet and FTP capabilities.
  • CGI Scripts: UNIX environment, TAR and GUNZIP commands, Perl, CShell scripts, and file permissions.
  • Email: Basic proficiency with email clients for sending and receiving messages.

The client acknowledges that Web Team Host is not obligated to provide training or support for matters unrelated to Web Team Host server operations.

18 Backups

Web Team Host takes all necessary precautions to maintain system stability. Despite these efforts, Web Team Host cannot be held liable for data loss under any circumstances. We strongly encourage all users to maintain their own regular backups on local devices or external storage.

For shared web hosting customers, a complimentary automated remote backup service is available at no additional cost (not available for accounts exceeding 50 GB of stored data). This backup service is primarily designed to support data restoration in the event of a shared server failure.

VPS/VDS/Dedicated Server users: No default backup service is available. Web Team Host does not retain backup copies of dedicated server customer data. You are responsible for implementing your own backup strategy. Third-party backup solutions can be arranged upon request at additional cost.

19 Actions

Failure to comply with any of the policies or terms outlined in this agreement may result in account deactivation. Web Team Host is the sole authority in determining what constitutes a violation of its Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, without prior notice.

Upon identifying a potential AUP violation, Web Team Host will initiate an investigation and may restrict customer access to prevent further unauthorized activity. Criminal violations will be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.

All Web Team Host customers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Web Team Host harmless from any and all claims arising from their or any third party's use of our services. Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with no warranties of any kind.

20 Modification

Web Team Host reserves the right to add, remove, or amend any provision of this policy at any time and without advance notice.

21 Refusal of Service

We retain the absolute right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service to any individual or entity. Persistent policy violations following formal warnings represent a typical basis for service refusal. Refusal or suspension of services is especially common in cases involving spam activity or script abuse.

Customers who behave in an unreasonable, threatening, or unprofessional manner may have their accounts suspended, with a recommendation to seek services from an alternative provider. If a specific account is identified as the cause of server instability, we reserve the right to suspend that account to protect the shared environment. Customers with high resource demands are encouraged to consider upgrading to a VPS or Dedicated Server plan.

22 Affiliate Terms

By enrolling in the Web Team Host Affiliate Program, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, in addition to all other terms set forth in this Terms of Service agreement.

22.1 Affiliate Program Overview

The Web Team Host Affiliate Program provides you with an opportunity to earn commissions by directing new customers to our services. Affiliates can earn a minimum of 20% commission on every qualifying sale generated through their referral link. Our system automatically tracks all referrals and credits commissions for each new paying customer you bring to Web Team Host.

22.2 Commission Structure

Every time a visitor completes a purchase through your unique affiliate link, your account will be automatically credited. Our program supports lifetime commissions — you continue earning as long as your referred customers remain active users. Commissions are calculated on the total sale value, and a single referral has the potential to generate USD 500 or more in lifetime earnings.

22.3 Minimum Withdrawal Limit

The minimum balance required to request a commission withdrawal is USD 50. Earnings below this threshold will accumulate in your affiliate account until the minimum is reached.

22.4 Prohibited Activities

The activities listed below are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and permanent forfeiture of all pending commissions:

  • Self-Referral: You are not permitted to use your affiliate link to purchase services for yourself.
  • Coupon Aggregation Platforms: Posting affiliate links on coupon-sharing or deal-aggregation websites is not allowed.
  • Black Hat SEO & Spam: Spamming, link farming, forum spam, or any black hat SEO practices are strictly forbidden.
  • Misrepresentation: You may not make false or misleading claims about Web Team Host's services, pricing, or terms.
  • Cookie Stuffing: Artificially inflating referral metrics through cookie stuffing or hidden iframes is strictly prohibited.
  • Legal Violations: You agree not to violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights in promoting Web Team Host services.

22.5 Disclosure Requirements

You are obligated to clearly and prominently disclose your affiliate relationship with Web Team Host on any website or platform where you promote our services. This disclosure must satisfy all applicable advertising and disclosure regulations, including FTC guidelines where applicable.

22.6 Affiliate Link Usage

Only affiliate links generated through the official Web Team Host affiliate dashboard may be used. Modifying, masking, or altering affiliate links in any way that disrupts proper attribution or tracking is prohibited.

22.7 Commission Payment

Commissions are issued based on verified and completed sales. A commission may be withheld or reversed if:

  • The referred customer requests a refund within the applicable refund window.
  • The transaction is identified as fraudulent.
  • The referral is found to be in violation of any terms of this agreement.
  • The referred customer cancels their service within the first 30 days.

22.8 Tracking and Reporting

Web Team Host's affiliate tracking infrastructure uses cookies and related tracking mechanisms to accurately attribute referrals. Cookie duration and attribution settings are determined by Web Team Host and may be adjusted at any time. Affiliates have full access to a real-time dashboard displaying clicks, conversions, and commission summaries.

22.9 Account Termination

Web Team Host reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason. Upon termination, all pending commissions will be forfeited unless Web Team Host determines otherwise. Common reasons for termination include:

  • Breach of any provision in this agreement.
  • Engagement in fraudulent activity.
  • Misrepresenting Web Team Host services or offerings.
  • Participation in prohibited promotional practices.
  • Prolonged inactivity or failure to meet minimum performance standards.

22.10 Changes to Affiliate Program Terms

Web Team Host reserves the right to revise this Affiliate Program Agreement at any time. Revised terms become effective immediately upon publication on our website. Continuing to participate in the affiliate program following any such revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

22.11 Limitation of Liability

Web Team Host shall bear no liability for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to participation in the affiliate program, including loss of revenue, data loss, or service interruptions. Web Team Host's maximum aggregate liability for any affiliate-related claim shall not exceed the total commissions paid to the affiliate in the twelve (12) calendar months immediately preceding the date the claim arises.

23 General

All services are subject to interpretation and modification at the discretion of Web Team Host administrators, and such changes may occur without advance notice. All fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable, with the sole exception of the 30-day money-back guarantee where applicable. Any breach of this Terms of Service agreement may lead to account termination. Web Team Host reserves the right to discontinue any account at any time without prior notice. Accounts may be deleted with 15 days' notice at our discretion.
